Remote IT Support

Recently, we provided remote computer support to a client by migrating data from their old laptop to a new device. From their old machine, we uploaded their important business documents to Google Drive. On the new machine, we installed Avast & Malwarebytes to provide antivirus and malware protection. Once all the files had synced from the old machine to Google Drive, we proceeded to install Google Drive on the new machine. All the files were then downloaded to the new machine without a CD, hard drive, or USB dongle in sight.

We then installed and/or set-up various programs, such as Windows Live Mail, LibreOffice, Skype and Zoho Vault. We did all of this without even being in the same country as my client. All we needed was an internet connection and we were able to provide remote assistance (with our client’s permission) using TeamViewer.
