Who likes going the long way around? Unless you’re Ewan McGregor, most of us opt for a shortcut if there’s a quicker way to get something done (especially repetitive tasks). Sat navs are easier than reading a map; bookmarked web pages make it simple to find favourite or useful content, and shortcuts to work mean more time with the family at breakfast.
